• Water slurry

Similar to the dyeing principle, an aqueous slurry is used, and the slurry directly penetrates into the cloth like a spot of ink to change the fiber color of it.

Advantages:

The pattern feels very good, almost no thickness, maintaining the original feel of the fabric.

Disadvantages:

After washing for a long time, the pattern color will become darker and lighter.

Suitable for:

It is suitable for printing dark patterns on light (white) shirts. The same color shirts can be printed in the same color as the bottom shirts, such as yellow and dark yellow, brown. Black can be used to fit all the base shirts outside of black.

• Glue

It belongs to the paint printing, and the glue slurry is used to cover the surface of the cloth to form a pattern.

Advantages:

Bright colors, no discoloration after wearing for a long time.

Disadvantages:

The pattern is slightly thick and has a slight gel texture.

Suitable for:

Shirts of any color, any color (color of CMYK four-color mode) can be achieved with glue. If there is a fluorescent color, fluorescent printing can be used.

• Heat transfer

The pattern is printed on a transfer paper (similar to a transparent film made of plastic material), and the outline of the pattern is cut out by a laser dicing machine, and then bonded to the clothes by heat and pressure by a machine.

Advantages:

This process is simply charged by the pattern area, and the price is not affected by the pattern color; the smaller the pattern, the lower the cost, and vice versa, the pattern is bright, and the color and detail are highly restored.

Disadvantages:

A slight gel texture, will affect the breathability, so it is not suitable for large-area printing; a lot of irregular small patterns, you need to make a pattern of the same color of the fabric.

Suitable for:

Suitable for printing “a lot of color, or a gradient pattern, or a small area” pattern.

• Embroidery

Embroidery is the use of a needle to puncture a thread or other fiber or yarn into a piece of embroidery with a certain pattern and color, and to embellish the pattern to form a decorative fabric. It is an art of adding people’s design and production to any existing fabric with needles and threads.

Advantages:

With the line and the pen, through the overlapping and interlacing of multiple colored embroidery threads, the color is blended.The rendering effect of the unique Chinese painting has the characteristics of embroidered flat clothes, fine stitching, and bright colors.

Disadvantages:

The cost can be high and time consuming.

Suitable for:

Support all colors. In order to achieve the desired effect, the minimum Chinese character is 1cm2, the English alphabet is at least 0.5cm2, the thinnest line is 1.5mm, and the color in the pattern is up to 4-6.
